Mission and Position headline:
The Head of Business Partnership Management (BPM) is responsible for designing, leading, and governing the end-to-end Business Partner (BP) ecosystem for Diagnostics China.
By building a scalable business partnership framework that supports Diagnostics China’s growth ambitions, enhances market coverage and ensure compliance, this role ensures that commercial partnerships are strategically impactful, operationally efficient, and fully compliant by integrating commercial strategy, partner governance, risk management, and lifecycle operations.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
• Define the business partnership strategy aligned with DX China’s go-to-market model and business priorities.
• Design partnership governance models, collaboration frameworks, and Business Partnership operating mechanisms to ensure consistency and long-term sustainability.
• Lead structured partnership business reviews and facilitate education system to ensure business partners meet capability, compliance, and performance expectations.
• Provide strategic leadership and end-to-end oversight of the Business Partner governance framework – set policies, structures, due diligence standards and monitoring mechanisms for Business Partners, covering pre-onboarding controls, continuous monitoring and post-audit follow-up.
• Maintain strong risk management practices by conducting regular reviews, identifying risks, performing root cause analyses, and promptly escalating critical issues to Commercial, Finance, Compliance, and Legal teams. When necessary, facilitate the withdrawal or termination of business partners to safeguard the company’s reputation and goodwill.
• Ensure overall accountability for the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of BP-related data, documentation and system across key platforms (e.g., CEP, 西影力, Shareville).
• Drive continuous improvement of BP management processes, controls, and audit readiness to enhance transparency, operational discipline, and long-term sustainability of the BP ecosystem.
• Oversee remediation plans and ensure ownership and accountability for addressing compliance findings and operational gaps.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing DX BPM team with clear responsibilities across BP management, commercial enablement, and lifecycle operations. Foster a culture of, operational excellence, customer focus, accountability and compliance.

Qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in commercial management, channel management, partner governance, or business development in healthcare industry, preferred in IVD.
• Deep understanding of China’s healthcare market, channel structures, sub-dealer dynamics, and compliance requirements.
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to translate strategy into operational excellence.
• Proven experience in risk assessment, governance frameworks, operational control, and cross-functional leadership.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
• Language: Chinese - Native level, can handle business negotiation and can effectively and efficiently fulfill responsibilities as native speakers; and English - Business level, can handle business communication without major issues.
