The senior project manager will be a combination responsibility for the local Product Management of products produced by China Varian as well as strong collaboration and co-working with counterparts in global in order to bring the China customer and market requirements to our global products and portfolio.

The project manager will also support and drive key strategic portfolio activities with project management team to ensure access market with speed and success in China.


Your role:

Responsibilities:

  1. Close work with Business management team to develop a deep customer and market understanding in order to specify the best product (feature set and cost position) for a clearly defined market segment
  2. Drives the continuous process to identify and define China market & customer needs (e.g. by regular customer visits/interviews, customer workshops, competition analysis) to deliver the most competitive, innovative and cost-effective solution for China market and customers.
  3. Interface between China local and global product and project management team to execute a winning product definition and fulfil market need
  4. Contribute to the product portfolio and product strategy for China Market to support a winning portfolio and market success in China
  5. Responsible for the planning, control, performance, follow-up and reporting of the project

6. Leading project team to develop market-oriented, high-quality, cost-effective products within defined time frame

Requirements

  1. At least 8 years’ working experience in healthcare industry, Imaging and/or RT background preferred;
  2. Several years’ experience in Product Management, Project Management and/ or Business Development.
  3. Have proven experience in leading projects.
  4. Knowledge about RT system (Hardware, Software, Application) as well as RT market is a plus
  5. Knowledge about the PLM process and good understanding of cross-functional teamwork activities within the PLM lifecycle.
  6. Strong personal skills and language skills (English) needed as of frequent cross-country communication and alignment.
