Mission:​ The IT Business Partner will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of digitalization that aligns with the business goals and objectives. They will lead or support the delivery of internal and outsourced IT projects from demand collection to transition to operations to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with the desired quality to meet business objectives 

Responsibilities:

  • ​Manages relationships with business, internal key users, and process owners for all IT-related topics, with a focus on the region China. 
  • ​Consults and supports the implementation of new or changed services and solutions. 
  • ​Ensures high customer satisfaction by translating business demands into IT service requirements. 
  • ​Supports a holistic view for the digitalization of the business on a strategic level. 
  • ​Facilitates aligning global enterprise architecture and solution designing based upon the governance structure.​ 
  • Maintain Business Partner relationships, participate in or organize business management meetings to identify demands on a tactical and strategic level. 
  • Understand business needs and translate them into IT requirements. 
  • Evaluate customer satisfaction, collect, and consider respective business feedback. 
  • Ensure the best practice usage of commodity services. 
  • Identify and manage IT demands in alignment with business value and IT governance strategy by driving the decision-making process if needed. 
  • Design and drive opportunities where IT can create additional business value. 
  • Be the IT advisor to the business on current IT services and future IT needs. 
  • Serve as the executive touchpoint for a portfolio of projects and Business/IT processes. 
  • Ensure that Centers of Excellence (CoE's) continue to understand the needs of our Business/region. 
  • Promote IT innovations and new services that can create additional business value. 
  • User Engagement: Enable and guide the rollout of IT Services in Business. 
  • Sponsor and partner with project managers and Business on IT service implementation. 
  • Articulate relevant changes (impact of change on IT services, projects, initiatives, trends, etc.) to business process owners and business key users. 
  • Translate complex subject matter, expert knowledge, and technical terms into an expression understandable for the Business.
  • Proactively participate and be passionate to understand business and business changes, be the speaker of IT topics as part of business team, driving together with business counterparts and IT functions and teams such, solution architect, applications, infra and operations, as well as governance team and guardrails such as Security, IT compliance and Security for positive business impact, creating business value and ensure compliant and security.

Experience:

​​Technology background and Business demand management 

  • ​3+ years of experience in IT demand management and Project management. 
  • ​Strong understanding of the latest technologies and trends in the industry. 
  • ​Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • ​Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
  • ​Stakeholder management in a global context. 
  • ​Understand business case development and develop business cases with the business. 
  • ​Experience in vendor contract negotiation, including Master Agreements and Local Service Agreements. 

​Communication and change management  

  • ​Excellent communication in a global context as well as in moderation and presentation techniques. 
  • ​Excellent facilitation in a global context and prioritization of business demand with strategic thinking. 
  • ​Relevant experience in organizing and leading improvement workshops, presentation of content, coaching experience beneficial. 
  • ​Ability to work under ambiguity and cope with conflicting situations with advanced moderating and critical thinking skills.​ 
  • Education:​​Degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or a comparable subject of study to demonstrate knowledge acquired in practice. 
  • ​Gained knowledge or certificates for quality requirements and business processes in the field of IT, such as ISO 9001, and maybe even in ISO 13485 and ITIL. 
  • ​Change management expertise. 
  • ​Broader experiences at business/Fiannce, exuecting or leading the implementation of digitalization project, or management or operating consulting experience are plus 

Education:

  • ​​Degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or a comparable subject of study to demonstrate knowledge acquired in practice. 
  • ​Gained knowledge or certificates for quality requirements and business processes in the field of IT, such as ISO 9001, and maybe even in ISO 13485 and ITIL. 
  • ​Change management expertise. 
  • ​Broader experiences at business/Fiannce, exuecting or leading the implementation of digitalization project, or management or operating consulting experience are plus
